We really appreciate the staff at the hotel. They managed to get us early into our room, so that our child could have her nap. They always had a smile on their faces and always greeted us. They staff was also super helpful when our little one got sick! The location was much better than expected! We took the bus to Big Ben! The DLR takes you to Canary Warf and then when you get to Bank, it’s easy enough to get to everywhere else. We also enjoyed a few hours in Blackheath, which was only a 5min bus ride away. We will definitely come back here. It’s like the perfect little hidden gem for a great stay in London!

We really appreciated the quiet location and being close to the Thames. The room was very comfortable.Great to have a glimpse of the river Thames from our window. All we needed in the room and an excellent bathroom in particular. Hotel, was close to a wonderful old pub The Three Daws where we ent for dinner each night.

I booked for my parents so they could celebrate my mum's 60th Birthday! When I booked I stated this fact and received a message that 'we don't do anything for birthdays' and I didn't expect it. My message was more to state the fact that it was me that had booked but not me who was staying. On arrival they were more than looked after and a special note regarding my mum's birthday was left - a lovely little (but HUGE!) touch and I thank you so much for looking after my parents!

Greenwich Park

East meets west at the Prime Meridian Line in historic Greenwich Park. Once a royal hunting ground, this leafy space is now a peaceful retreat for Londoners looking to stroll, cycle or sunbathe. Crowning the park from its hilltop perch, the Royal Observatory is quite a climb but the views alone are well worth the walk.

There is a Big ship in a bottle & a Children's playground & then you walk up a very steep hill to get to the Prime Meridian, we did not have time to go into the Observatory on this trip. Up on the hill you can see the city of Greenwich..

Take the Docklands Light Railway from the city centre.

Take the Docklands Light Railway from the city centre. You'll pass through Canary Wharf and Docklands and when you leave you'll see the Cutty Sark tea clipper that sailed from China to London many times. Then walk to the National Maritime Museum and through Greenwich Park where you can see the National Observatory and look out over a great panorama of London. Return to the other side of the Thames via the tunnel which is quite an experience, though not at all creepy! You can pick up your return train there. Not to be missed!
