Perfect central location, clean room, bed was very comfortable, good sound-proofing and black-out blinds ensured a good night's sleep. Very nice bathroom products too. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

The location, facilities and cleanliness are all perfect. The friendliness and personality of the staff made our vacation the best. Thanks to the staff, we had a super comfotable experience. After checking out, the staff asked us, "Are you still going out until your flight? Shall I keep your luggage?" After coming back to hotel, they asked us, "Do you want to use the bathroom?" I was impressed that everything was perfect. We found the best accommodation in London.

The Christmas decorations at the Savoy were something from a fairy tale or a movie! The staff were some of the best we've ever experienced in any 5-star hotel - they consistently went above and beyond when we had the slightest wish. The whole experience was one of pure luxury, yet it was also relaxing. There wasn't an atmosphere of arrogance or privilege as one might fear in such hotels, and yet at the same time, the legend of the Savoy was felt everywhere. We appreciated being able to order a little Christmas tree for our room, as we spent Christmas Eve and Day there, and there were little chocolate-y surprises for us in our room, which made it extra special. We had booked at stay where breakfast was included, and it was so nice to just indulge in the generous selection every morning. It is no exaggeration that we consistently ate too much, as it was all of amazing quality. We had also booked a table for afternoon tea, which was likewise lovely, and we had booked at table at the American Bar, another popular destination for guests and outsiders as well, so booking is recommended. These all made the experience even better. The location is perfect for walking to all the sights of central London, as the hotel is situated between the Thames and Covent Garden, only a five-minute walk from either, and about a 15-minute walk from Trafalgar Square. This meant you didn't have to constantly take the Underground to go to places. We also walked to the Southside over the nearby Waterloo Bridge, from where we could see the London Eye and Big Ben, and we walked to St. Paul's Cathedral in the other direction.

Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square is a marvel of historic London architecture. Bordered by monumental museums, embassies and the National Gallery, this city-centre square is a focal point for celebrations, cultural events and rallies alike. At its heart, Admiral Nelson surveys the city from a 44-metre column, while four enormous bronze lions guard the ground below.

Make sure there is not some form of function/celebration or protest. Trafalgar Square was entirely closed up & decorated for Chinese New year & I felt that took away from one of London's iconic features

The appartment is spacious and well-fitted. The living/sleeping area is large: there is a table and chairs for eating and working at, and there is a comfortable sofa which I believe is also a sofa-bed. The kitchen is well-equipped. The location is excellent, with two bus-stops within 2 minutes walk. One route takes you down towards, Kings Cross and St Pancras and then on to Victoria; the other goes through the heart of london to Trafalgar Square. It was also - with the exception of the oven - spotlessly clean

It was a good place to stay. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils for comfortable cooking (refrigerator, stove, dishes, pans, etc.), and laundry facilities were available. The location was close to public transportation, so you could get to Trafalgar Square without changing trains. There were also grocery stores nearby. The staff was friendly

LOCATION!! For the price, it's incredible. Trafalgar Square, Theatre district, Covent Garden etc.. It's not a 5 Star hotel, so don't get carried away. But it has a clean modern kitchen area, small but functional bathroom and comfy bed. Not too noisy considering the location. It's not the Savoy (760 for the same night!) but for less thab a quarter of the price you'll be clean and comfortable in the same area. I'll use again for sure.
