There's an easy access by tube, St James's Station is just few minutes. It's only 15 minutes walk to Westminster Bridge for sightseeing. Room was clean and you have what you need for a short stay. Breakfast was enjoyable and saying hello to everyone at the bar (where breakfast is served) is a joyful way to start your day.

Thought the room was very practical and spacious. It had a coffee machine which is good. It was great to have the basic kitchenette as London is so expensive and we could have our breakfast there etc. The room was cheaper as it didn`t have a window being in the lower ground floor with hindsight I would have maybe paid more for a window buy then I didn`t go to London to sit in the hotel. It is in a lovely area with a market on the doorstep. Very convenient for Waterloo Station etc

You must remember that since the Norman invasion of 1066, this has been the seat of common law for any country that broke away from England. And the architecture takes you back to another time. We also had the pleasure of being there within a very celebratory week--both the 200 year anniversary of Waterloo and the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta.

We stayed here because it wasn't too far from Waterloo as we had tickets to see Streetcar Named Desire. The play was brilliant as the shows always seem to be.
