Our stay at this villa was magnificent. The property is breathtaking, every detail reflects luxury and comfort, from the elegant design to the amazing view. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding personal service. The staff were attentive. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. It was a really calm and wonderful experience from all aspects, starting with the hotel. I booked a suite with a private pool facing the sea. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. All the hotel staff, without exception, were amazing and friendly, making you feel like you're dealing with family members rather than employees just doing their job. Honestly, I’ll definitely repeat the experience.

    Spinalonga — island near Elounda, Crete.

    Spinalonga — island near Elounda, Crete. Historically interesting (Venetian fortress, Ottoman rule, leper colony until 1957), now a tourist spot. Boat trip for 2: €24, entrance: €40 — total €64. Consider it support for the local economy. We didn’t find the island worth visiting — it would have been enough to see it from afar. The boat ride was nice, but overall, the trip is overpriced. I wouldn’t do it again.

    It was a great place to go by boat to see but there isn’t any guide to help understand the history or what exactly the buildings/rooms were. Some signage but only have an hour so you can’t see it all in that time. We hustled around the place not really reading much so we could see more but still missed a lot. Recommend reading about the history before visiting for it to be a better experience ana understanding.

    Absolutely disappointing.

    Absolutely disappointing. A beautiful island from afar, but left to destruction. Thousands visit the island every month, but the money earned with it goes not to the upkeep of the island. It has tremendous potential as a destination, for a good museum, restaurants, even performances at night. As it is now, it is falling apart.

    Location is amazing - very idyllic and close to day trips like Spinalonga Island. Room was a great size and very nice bathroom. For a hotel buffet, the selection was reasonable and changed enough each day for it not to be boring (we stayed for 3 nights).

You can even see the historic Spinalonga island! It’s the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine, soak up the calm, or even work remotely with the dreamiest view imaginable. A true hidden gem 🥹 I’d come back in a heartbeat! 💙✨

    The view of the sea from the balcony is wonderful. It is a moving canvas of the coast across to Spinalonga. The apartment is also well placed with two excellent restaurants literally a few steps away but with no disturbance to the occupants of the apartment. We look forward to returning soon.

    The Island Apartment is clean, tidy and spacious. Full stock of kitchen appliances and utensils. Perfect location for the town centre with multiple bars, restaurants and supermarkets and close enough for a nice stroll to the local beaches. The outstanding feature is the view across the bay to Spinalonga from the spacious balcony. Ilianna, the owner is always available should you need anything and takes a pride in keeping her guests happy. She is amazing. This is our second stay at the Island Apartment and it will not be our last.

    The room was good, very clean, with a fridge, a kettle and a hair dryer, the room had a balcony with a table and chairs, there was a TV, we didn't switch it on, the wifi had great coverage throughout the hotel. Seating in all areas was great, around the pool, in reception and in the restaurant, bar prices where also very reasonable. It's a short easy walk into town, and well placed for a trip to Spinalonga.

    The apartment was overlooking Elounda Port with a wonderful panoramic view of the bay and Spinalonga Island. It is really beautiful. Elounda itself is OK, with some nice restaurants, but it wasn’t our sort of resort and we cut short our stay. Fortunately, it is just fifteen minutes drive from Agios Nikolaos, which has lots more to offer.

    We really enjoyed our stay. We were met by Maria who was so nice and helpful. She left us a welcome pack with fruit, bread and wine which was such a nice touch after a long drive. The location of the apartment is perfect to explore Elounda, Plaka and Spinalonga. Just a short stroll to restaurants and the the beach. The balcony is perfect to sit and watch the boats go by with a lime tree right outside. Overall the apartment was very clean and well equipped for our stay.

    Absolutely fabulous would highly recommend. Great location with views to spinalonga island. Staff are beyond friendly. We stayed in a bungalow and it was perfect. We went for the half board option, great selection from three restaurants. We especially loved the Asian restaurant. Great cocktails at both beach bar and hotel bar. We hired a car and did the richtis Gorge hike, visited Agios nikolaos and also walked to kolokitha beach which is near Elounda.

    By going during winter. In January there are barely any other tourists. Unfortunately in January it was not possible to visit Spinalonga island, exept on certain Weekend days, so check this if you are planning to visit the Island in Winter!
