Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

Loved Dublin. It has something for everyone.

Loved Dublin. It has something for everyone. History buffs to small kids. There is something for all interests. Easy city to navigate with plenty of public transportation. Seemed to be a safe place to visit, never felt unsafe. Friendly people also. It was absolutely beautiful with all the Christmas lights and markets

We visited at Christmas, lovely lights, people are very friendly, the bars welcoming, the food good. We went site seeing, so not much shopping. Would have liked a big Christmas market, but the mulled wine was good.

So much to see and do, yes the pubs in Temple Bar area are expensive but the atmosphere is fantastic with such friendly people and great music. We visited the Guinness Storehouse and poured our own pint, we spent 3.5 hours in there, also did the Jameson Distillery tour, I didn't know I liked whisky until I went there. Going at Christmas time is magical as the city lights are fabulous. Very easy to get around on the bus or tram or if the weather's kind it's nice to walk along the river. Don't miss the Brazen Head which is so unusual with lots of little rooms, great food and music. Don't forget to find Molly Malone.

I really wanted to like this hotel. The building, decor and furniture are very cool in an understated modern way. Smart, not flashy, and very well lit. The room was good and the bathroom had an excellent sunflower shower big enough to throw a party in, with lots of hot wster. The staff were lovely. The location is conveniently near the end of the Luas (urban rail) line and, after a day of muggy heat in the city centre, the cry of gulls and cool breezes off Dublin Bay were a pleasant change. We booked a triple room for a one night stay, the room was very spacious and bathroom clean with a good supply of towels. All staff we came across were so pleasant and helpful and were full of useful knowledge of Dublin and how to get around. We stayed on a Saturday night on the first floor, and there was some street noise - but it’s a city centre hotel in Dublin, we didn’t come for a quiet night 🍻

Very charming hotel ideally located in Dublin (just 3 stations away from the city centre on the DART rail line, a 10 minutes journey), within a very nice and quiet neighbourhood. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Our room was elegantly decorated in a Victorian style, clean and comfortable. We will surely come back on our next trip to Dublin!
