The hotel has an amazing relaxing atmosphere with it's design and you feel you live in a garden. Rooms are nice, spacious and super clean! Going out and in 10-15 min walk you are in the best restaurants in Trastevere. You want to got to the Centre - 30-40 min walk, Vatican - again half hour. Awesome location close to everything and yet when you are there you feel you're not in the busy city. Great Breakfast and awesome recommendations for restaurants by the hotel - Ai Bozzi and Vanda, simply amazing! We had such a great time!

St. Peter's Basilica

Champion! Daintree’s the biggest tropical rainforest in Australia. Home to a vast breadth of flora and fauna, it’s a wonderful repository of nature’s glory, right on the Queensland coast. The area’s also really well set up for discovery, with a whole host of forest tours, night adventures, adrenaline-infused activities and more.

Way too many people allowed in at a time.

Way too many people allowed in at a time. Especially down in the crypt was down right scary since people were packed in so tight if there was an emergency someone would certainly die. Everywhere else was like trying to navigate through a football crowd.

Once you're in, there is so much to see. Overwhelming.

Once you're in, there is so much to see. Overwhelming. But then you come to one corner and first you see it - Michelangelo's Pietá. It calls you like a magnet. And all you hear is Michelangelo, Michelangelo, Michelangelo ... His sculpture itself is a miracle enough to proclaim Michelangelo a saint. I wonder why they never did it ...

Make sure ladies your shoulders are covered, no short skirts or shorts. Men and boys Long shorts are appropriate with T shirts. Not long pants required! It is an amazing experience. During the Jubilee, which is during 2025. You will be allowed to enter through a golden door which is always closed. Here you can confess your sins as you walk through.

It had grandeur beyond expectations.

It had grandeur beyond expectations. It is now possible to book a reservation directly by getting an inexpensive audio guide. You can also reserve a time slot for the dome lift. I was scared by queues in previous years. However the reservation brought my wait time almost zero. Went right to metal detector and I was inside. Made a really nice wxperience.

you can easily spend an entire day in here walking around and seeing everything. Find a tour that will allow you to see the Pieta...when we were there it was behind a curtain that you could one walk behind if you were on a tour. You can find tours that leave you to wander through the basilica when the tour is finished. I recommend this option so you get the historical information from a tour guide but have the abiity to take your time looking afterwards

Extraordinary and absolutely impressive!

Extraordinary and absolutely impressive! Definitely go early to beat the crowds and heat. You'll be able to enjoy the quiet silence and truly experience the spiritual ambience of space. Even if your Italian is rusty, try to make time for a service in the chapel..such a memory.
