Beautiful rooms and lovely hotel in general. I'm sorry to be leaving! The room was HUGE. A lot of apartments I've lived in have been smaller. Beds are really comfortable, the facilities are all modern and the staff are so very helpful.

firstly, the location was great. Just 5 minutes walk from the station. Then, the hotel is new, just opened less than 6 months ago, so it was a bonus to feel like almost the first guests . The room though not very big yet very efficiently designed to supply all needs. Very nicely decorated, comfortable beds and all necessary amenities in the shower. The onsen, both private and public were amazing. At the front desk we met Virginie who was fantastic, very helpful and ready to give advice on any question. Breakfast was very good, large veriety of food, both western and Japanese, a very good English speaking waiter (at our table) and the sitting area is very beautifuly designed.

The Japanese design of the hotel is very nice, the location is great and there is a feeling of young atmosphere. There is an onsen separated for men and women. During afternoon and evening they give drinks for free including sake and beers.

spacious room, shared bathroom accommodations were well arranged and very clean. very welcoming place to relax. highly recommend taking up one of the meditation initiations or following the morning service. There’s a kitchen that is for use by guests if you feel the need to, however they provide a really handy guide to delicious dining in Takayama too.

    Very clean and well managed Hotel. One of the highlights of the stay was going down for buffet breakfast, the range of food and quality was very good and nutricious. Front Desk manned 24Hrs and staff very polite and helpful, although speak limited amount English (but use Translate Apps on their mobiles to communicate if their English limited). Short 5 min walk from Takayama Station.

    Very comfortable and spacious for a family of four (including two teens). Good bathroom with a deep bath. The in-room washer/dryer was very convenient. The hotel and room were lovely, modern and clean and also in a quiet location, about 10 min walk from Takayama Station.

    The location is excellent. A skip and a hop from the JR Takayama station and bus centre, with a big Family Mart nearby. We got a triple room and we are happy with the room size. It's spacious, very clean and all amenities provided for; the staff is also very friendly. We definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again if we should swing by Takayama again.

    It was located right next to a convenience store and a stone’s throw away from the old town, the Takayama Jinya, Nakabashi bridge, restaurants and shops. Takayama station was just about 12 mins walk away. The hotel is small but had everything including a coin laundry and it is rather well maintained. The rooms were clean and well kept, maybe I would appreciate a harder pillow but other than that, there was nothing to complain about. The Hanare room which my kids stayed in had a loft where they sleep in, and it was very cozy and comfortable.

    The accommodation is just a few minutes’ walk from Takayama Station. It’s a very spacious, clean apartment with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Although we didn’t see the staff in person, as we had to pick up the keys at a hotel across from the apartment, they were always very kind and responsive through messages, and attentive to any needs that came up. They also provide complimentary drinks and snacks. Considering the price, the apartment is fully equipped and perfect for a comfortable stay in Takayama.

    it was a unintended but unforgetable stay. originally wanted to stay near Takayama station, but most hotels were full. Came across Auberge in Booking.com & was curious to try this small but unique family-run stay. Glad to hv stay here to experience a different but cosy atmosphere unlike a usual hotel.

    Breakfast is the best we had in japan in terms of variety. The tatami floors are nice. All areas within the hotel are gorgeous. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. Its a few blocks from the Takayama Station and Nouhi Bus, so if you're on a tight schedule like we were but want to visit places like Shirakawago, this could be a plus for you.
