I strongly recommend this accommodation, with neat and wonderful facility and service. First of all the lobby's interior and the atmosphere were fascinating, the facility itself as a whole art museum. Staff services were overall pleasant and guest-friendly. I booked a room for 4 people and were able to sleep in each individual bed, which was comfortable enough. Room and bathroom were both tidy and well prepared, plus the room area was big enough for all 4 of us to unpack our luggage. It was also an intriguing experience to look around the artistic storage in the basement floor.

The best hotel in Tokyo — without a doubt! I’ve stayed at many hotels in Japan, but Mimaru was truly special. My father wasn’t feeling well and needed to see a doctor, and the entire staff, including the manager, went above and beyond to help us. They made sure he could see a doctor immediately, even accompanying us to the clinic and helping with translation — not just once, but twice! We were deeply touched by their kindness and care. They constantly checked in to make sure my father was okay throughout our stay, all the way until checkout. We are truly grateful for everything they did. As for the location — it’s perfect. Close to shops, malls, Uniqlo, Don Quijote, and just a 3–5 minute walk from both the JR Station and the subway. The room was spotless, and the check-in instructions were very clear. Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for everything!

Set above a station so is easy to find.

Set above a station so is easy to find. Unfortunately the day we went as very wet and cloudy and the Skytree observation was clouded in, so we were advised not to go up by the attendant. Disappointing.

Loved it here! We had lunch at the Kirby Cafe. Reservations are a challenge, but worth it for the incredibly themed place and food. (Watch YouTube videos for reservation tips.) The shopping was so fun! A Kirby store, Pokemon Center, Marvel store, and a Harry Potter Pop-up store were favorites. You could easily spend all day shopping!

The best spot to get a city view, and you can see Mt Fuji on a clear day. THE best attraction for 360 degree views and worth the fee. I wouldn't bother with any of the other fee paying viewing attractions, like the Tokyo Tower of Fuji Observatory. Go for sunset. There's no time limit for staying up there and it has a bar. Not many places to sit down

Nice view and nice insta photo spots.

Nice view and nice insta photo spots. Tip 1: Take the 1st batch of the day. It will be little crowd and you can have plenty space and time to take photo. The staff will not chase you out. Tip 2: Alternatively, can choose between evening and spare about 2 hours to experience day view and night view.

The decision to do the galleria (combo) was somewhat difficult. To justify the additional cost, and after reading reviews that suggested buildings become blurry at that height. I can confirm that although impressive at 450 meters, it did not feel more special than at 350 meters. The definition of the city became diminished at that height. However, the separate elevator did add to the experience. If you are likely to get FOMO, just book the combo (if not, you will pay a premium there). If you cannot justify paying more than necessary to enter - take comfort knowing your aren't missing out on too much.

Tokyo Skytree has the highest observation decks in the city, but that is basically all. It can become very crowded and it is quite far from most interesting places. I enjoyed the outdoor observation platform of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower much more for example and other nice observation decks are even free.

Convenient location to subway as well as the Asakusa line express to Narita. The hotel was very close to Sensoji, Nakamise street, Kappabashi dori and tons of food options, bars and shopping. We were lucky to get room with view of Tokyo Skytree and the top of sensoji. The apartment kitchen and sleeping area were spacious. Rooms were clean and nonsmoking. Bed and pillow were comfortable. Nespresso machine was an added bonus.

Excellent location. A short walk to and from Oshiage station, and a 10-15 minute walk to Tokyo Skytree. Great view of Tokyo Skytree from the apartment. It was enough space for our family of 4, including 2 adults and 2 kids. The hot tub was a nice feature and we enjoyed using it and relaxing outside. We also made use of the washer/dryer. It was great that we didn’t have to pack so much clothes or look for a laundromat. There is a super market downstairs and 7-11 is a 1 minute walk away.

The room is very clean and our stay was comfortable. It was a first time for me to be able to get a full rest during a trip. The location is literally behind the Sensoji Temple and walking towards the trai station isnt a problem cause you get to experie ce Nakimase Street and enjoy the food lots of time. It's also very cinvenient to a near 7-11 store if you need a quick run. Walking distance to the Tokyo Skytree if you wann get your steps-in. We would book this hotel again on our next trip!

The public bath was great to have especially for a hotel at this price point. Tawaramachi Station was literally outside the hotel and konbini is also just across the road. Sensoji is just a short distance away and you can get a great shot of Tokyo Skytree as your backdrop just a few streets away from the hotel.

Excellent location, amazing rooftop deck with seating and views of the Tokyo SKYTREE, nice staff, attempt at small breakfast of party and juice. Room has an electric kettle and they offer in room coffee maker. Japanese style room we stayed in was surprisingly comfortable to sleep on.

Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of the room and the whole hotel overall. Beautifull views from the rooftop deck overlooking Tokyo Skytree and Kitajukken River is a definite plus which really upscalled the whole atmosphere. I can't complement enough the friendliness and professionalism of all of the staff at Hotel Amanek Asakusa. Hotel Amanek is within a prime goldilocks location, 15 to 40 minutes to most Tokyo attractions by foot or train. Short walk to main Asakusa Subway station.

The hostel has a very good backgound of Tokyo Skytree. The dormitory was also clean and quiet. It is situated under the railroad but the sound of the train doesn't bother me anyway. The noise was tolerable. It is also a walking distance to Asakusa which most of the foods and shopping are situated. It is also near the train station and by the way one of the staff is kinda cute. I will book this again if ever I will be in Tokyo again.
