Both the property and its staff were warm, attentive to me and my wife's needs, and ensured we were comfortable during our stay. The room was cozy and well-lit. Overall our stay at La Chronique was memorable and very peaceful. The best part about the property was its location. Situated close to the famous Russian Market, it was the perfect place for souvenir shopping and cafe hopping. The area in general was bustling with highly rated restaurants, but, in our opinion the La Chronique Cafe serves the most amazing coffee. We loved their Madeleine and Canelé and would highly recommend their Breakfast selections.

This beautiful and calm haven is like a home away from home in the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff are super helpful and attentive to every need and the friendly manager shows a personal interest in all of his guests. No detail is too small from the lovely welcome drinks to the surprise snacks package that they prepared for our long onward journey. The pool is beautiful and breakfast was tasty, plentiful and varied and the bedroom absolutely stunning. This hotel is a must for anyone visiting Phnom Penh!

I stayed here for two nights. It was my first time staying at a vegan hotel and I enjoyed it! I was travelling alone and stayed at the single room. The bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean with great shower pressure. Room had a great space for one person and quiet for a good sleep. I also liked how the hotel is eco-friendly and sustainable. Decent internet speed. Secure access to room via pin/key code. There is also a cafe just downstairs of the hotel space. As a guest I had complimentary coffee or tea in the mornings. I also ordered their plant-based local dishes, which were all so delicious and filling. One of the best vegan/plant-based spots in the city. The staff were all so friendly. I chatted briefly with Tamsin who was lovely! The area was good too - just walking distance to some shops, market, other eateries. The hotel was located in a quiet part of this area.

    Get there early when it's cooler and before crowds appear.

    Get there early when it's cooler and before crowds appear. Then you can then take your time and atmosphere preserved - as it deserves. Don't be put off by the somewhat '70s' short film, though worth seeing 1st.

    Absolutely a must-do in Phnom Penh.

    Absolutely a must-do in Phnom Penh. I learnt so much more than I ever knew before about Khmer Rouge. And this place made the entire happenings 1000x more real to me. It affected me very deeply, and I would say visiting this place is very very important.
