The breakfasts were a rotation of four different menus. Multigrain bread, croissants, cereals, seasonal fruit, and juices were fresh each day and plentiful. It was enough to keep us going for the day. The location on the Mekong was stunning, with little refreshing breezes if we spent the afternoon. Mornings and evenings on the riverside were gorgeous. Best of all, staying on the property surrounded by the old Laotian homes was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It felt nostalgic and familiar, and unique at once. The homes were beautifully designed with ample modern bathrooms, too. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable about meeting our needs. The host is an exceptionally compassionate, interesting, and fun man.

Smooth pick-up from train station, very responsive to my queries. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, room has everything you might need, bed if comfortable. Laundry services are available. They are done well at the hotel and the clothes are folded for you afterwards.

this property was excellent. The design of the rooms, breakfast, location and the helpfulness of staff could not have been better. it was in a very attractive setting on a quiet road opposite a temple and very central. breakfast was superb and fresh. The staff were very helpful with good suggestions for activities and places to eat. could not have been better.

This hotel felt very luxury! The room itself was amazing and a very good size, the bathroom was huge and the shower was hot and powerful (!!!). The bed was comfortable. We got fresh towels and water everyday. Breakfast was great, good choices (banana pancakes were the best I’ve had in all of south east Asia!). Staff were lovely! Location was great, 5ish minute walk to night market and lots of tasty restaurants surrounding.

There's near by the night market it's very easy to walk around the town, and the hotel very comfortable, room very clean and delicious breakfast with friendly staff with very helpful organised tour. Nice hostel near the night market. The mix dormitory has one bathroom but there are also toilets and bathrooms in the inner court so it's great. Many sinks too in the inner court (with 2 airdryers). Free water and tables and chairs to sit at the entrance so it allows people to meet and chat. Nice billiard too. The family is nice and welcoming, I recommend!

This hotel was recommended by a friend, and it lived up to the praise. It’s not a large property, but everything is well maintained. The rooms are nicely scented, tidy, and decorated with great taste. The location is unbeatable – walking distance to both the morning and night markets, and close to popular tourist attractions too. The staff were professional and kind. They spoke clearly, offered assistance without being asked, and always made me feel like a valued guest. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had – will definitely return!

We had a lovely stay. The air con was excellent, bedroom bright and spacious, and there was good water pressure in the shower. Lovely host who was happy to help us with everything we needed. We rented a moped through the hotel, which was really easy to organise. Breakfast was generous and good quality, bonus that this was included in our stay. We would recommend La nuit de Laos to anyone looking for somewhere quiet but is central to the night market and river.
