The shops were nice and the Souk was very big, the only thing that spoiled it was the motorbikes driving through the narrow lanes where the pedestrians were walking. Unfortunately some riders were not considerate of the pedestrians. A maze full of market stalls and shops, you could end up spending a small fortune as there are so many interesting things to buy from soaps, to oils, lamps, leatherwear, basket ware, taglines, pottery, slippers etc. Use your map apps to get around as you could easily get lost and there's always someone wanting to show you there way for a small or not so small tip.
