The outstanding hospitality of Lupe and the entire hotel team made us feel like cherished guests. They welcomed us with refreshing drinks, setting the tone for a perfect stay. Our room was a sanctuary of relaxation, thoughtfully designed to provide both aesthetic pleasure and ultimate comfort. Overlooking the breathtaking Caribbean Sea, every morning was a delight as we woke up to the mesmerizing view. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the summer veranda were exquisite experiences, made even more magical by the backdrop of Tulum sunsets. The panoramic views from the top platform of the hotel created the perfect setting for romantic evenings and rejuvenating yoga. Throughout our stay, we couldn't help but notice the dedication and cheerfulness of the staff, who treated us like family. Victor and Joel, with their infectious energy, ensured that every day started with a positive vibe☀️. Sasil and Pek, the enchanting dogs with their charming Mayan names, added an extra layer of charm to the hotel, making us feel even more at home. And special thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Marta, that’s unforgettable. And oh, the culinary delights crafted by Chef Edgar! Every meal was a revelation of fresh, natural ingredients expertly combined to create an explosion of flavors. The chef's dishes were unparalleled, leaving us enchanted and claiming the top spot among all the restaurants we visited in the area. As our last day approaches, we find ourselves savoring every second here, cherishing the memories we've created, and wishing time would slow down. Los Arrecifes has woven its way into our hearts, and we know for certain that we will return to this paradise. We stayed here during our honeymoon after getting married in the Riviera Maya nearby. It was a lovely hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is stunning, and the rooftop bar and pool has a great view out to the city.

Having visited Tulum 20 years ago I was very happy to discover La Veleta … Tulum has become over developed, a party centre and has lost the style I remember so be well .. should you want to explore the area I could not recommend this charming boutique hotel more .. It has 9 rooms, is in a quiet area within 200 yards of some excellent bars and restaurants who are fortunately not all screaming out a disco beat and delightful staff. Breakfast can be taken at a café opposite which has an excellent menu at minimal cost. It’s within 10 minutes drive of the ‘hotel district’ and the beaches, free parking is available and the area is very civilised. Any construction that was mentioned in earlier reviews that may have taken place in the environs would appear to have ended earlier this year - review Dec 2024 I spent a delightful few days here 🤩

    There are guards before you enter the national park, they...

    There are guards before you enter the national park, they check the boot of the car and everyone’s bags… no plastic bottles allowed inside the park.. bring your reusable bottles.if you want to bring your own water! very large park so wear comfy shoes, go early to avoid crowds and to enjoy the sights while it is not uncomftably hot. you can walk to the nice sandy beach of playa paraiso from there, there is a path .it will save you from paying beach club entrance or minimum spend per person . you can sit on the beach with your own towels and just go to the hotels restaurants if your hungry. the best one with the sand and uninterupted views of the ocean is El Paraiso, no minimun spend per person there, food is good and you can pay for the beach loungers if you want to use them. There’s a fee if you want to ise their shower facilities.

    O parque nacional é composto pelas Ruinas e pelas praias.

    O parque nacional é composto pelas Ruinas e pelas praias. Recentemente você não consegue ir às praias sem pagar a entrada do Parque Nacional. A taxa de 58MXN por pessoa é obrigatória. Para chegar à Playa Paraiso, você precisa pagar em torno de 250MXN de taxi, ou 200MXN de estacionamento, ou andar em torno de no mínimo 4km para ir e voltar para as praias "públicas". Os restaurantes e Beach Clubs da Zona hoteleira tem um preco exorbitante e você não consegue facilmente acessar a praia. Tudo é dificil lá. Devido ao alto custo do local, sensação de ser explorado em tudo o que vai fazer em Tulum, acredito que não volto. A beleza do local não compensa o custo, Há muitos outros locais mais em conta e mais bonito para visitar na Riviera maya
