The setting is incredible and the rooms big, we had 2 rooms next to each other which meant we had our own little chalet and plenty of space for our family of 5 - the free sunset walk us amazing and then there is a little bar at the top of the hill so you can have a sundowner drink

The lodge is located close to the Fish River Canyon's main entrance. The rooms are spread around this well designed lodge. The swimming pool is a great place to enjoy the sunset. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom incorporated natural material to make it a very pleasant place to have a shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the sunset walk up to the hill overlooking the property. The buffet dinner was delicious with a great selection of dishes.

With garden views, Gondwana Canyon Roadhouse is set in Stamprivier and has a restaurant, an ATM, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Free WiFi is offered.

It is a wonderfully eclectic oasis of Namibian, charm and history. With the old car theme and imaginative decor, the ambience is unique. The staff were lovely from the restaurant, reception and bar to the extremely helpful Christian, who seemed to be everywhere and made sure we had a mechanic to fix a technical issue with our car. The food we had for lunch and dinner was also lovely. I highly recommend staying here, but make sure you book early!

Amazing location and super clean bathrooms and showers. We enjoyed the atmosphere of both the restaurant building and the campsite. There’s a lovely hike from the campsite that we took at sunset with beautiful viewpoints.

With far-reaching views over Fish River Canyon just below, the private chalets at this property have rooftop windows. Each has an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool is available.
