A beautiful old-world feeling hotel. Rooms have high ceilings and are tastefully decorated. The lobby is beautifully decorated with small koi ponds, plants, moss and flowers. On a previous trip to Chiang Mail, we wandered into the entrance courtyard area where a few people were dining. It was so delightful to observe, I asked a server if a table was available, but he told me dining was only available to hotel guests. On our stay there this trip, I observed another pair of travelers do the same thing!

A place over 700 monks call home, Phra Singh plays homage to the ‘Lion Buddha’ which has its roots deep in history, and stretching as far away as Sri Lanka.     Small hotel, Very clean, Room was medium sized (not too small, not large). Breakfast had many local foods available. Fruit and drinks available in lobby at all times. Pool is approximately 10m X 20m. There are a couple of cats roaming about. Located in Old Town. Can walk to Night Bazaar. Short walk (40m) from main street to hotel entrance. 1km to Wat Phra Singh

    The location was superb, right on the Sunday market street, a few metres away from Wat Phra Singh temple, which I could also see a glimpse of from my room. Very clean and nice room. Loads of cafes and restaurants around, as well as tour guide spots. All this being said, my favourite thing was the staff who made me feel like I was coming home each day. There was so much to do in the area, and I was so comfortable here that I extended my stay three times.
