It's a few minutes walk to Michigan Avenue (shopping area), and to the south of the river (where you can find Macy's, etc.). There's Mcdonald's, Target and Portillo's across the hotel. The nearest subway is a block away - i.e. red line that goes all the way to Chicago north (Howard) and down south to China Town. Many groceries and restaurants nearby. This hotel has an open Atrium floor plan. In the past when I have stayed in other hotels like this open plan, I have been bothered by noised from down below in the atrium. By being in the corner, this room was very quiet. I also liked the fact that the hotel was about 2 blocks from Michigan Avenue as Michigan avenue can be VERY noisy with Motorcycles going back in forth during during the night hours.Guest review byStevenUnited States
