We absolutely loved the pool, with it's view over the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a wide selection of both vietnamese and western options. The restaurant also featured architectural design that we liked. The hotel is very centrally located, with all main tourist attractions within walking distance.

Staff is one of the most cordial crew you can ever encounter in this world. The warm welcome with a drink is a nice touch. The rooftop pool with an exclusive bar will defo be in my mind for a long time, helping to chill in the middle of the town. Afternoon tea is such a great and surprisingly nice activity to add for guests. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I do recommend stay here.

Everything perfect, located centrally close to the opera house. The hotel is right inside the Grand Saigon mall, plenty of stores, restaurants, supermarket etc. Friendly and young helpful staff. Rooms are new, clean, soundproof and cozy. Beds very comfy. Breakfast super rich with many asian and western choices, excellent quality. Price/quality best for this hotel, suggested for everyone is looking for a central hotel, much better than other big hotels nearby.

Absolute perfect stay at La Siesta Saigon and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! The staff is super friendly, helpful and carrying. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need for your stay, short or long. Breakfast is delicious and with enough western and Asian options. The swimming pool is great for an “end of the day” cool down. La Spa is also incredible and worth it, a professional massage service at a fair price. We hope to come back once again to HCM and we would definitely choose La Siesta again :)

My experience at Ben thanh markets was very disappointing.

My experience at Ben thanh markets was very disappointing. You can not just stroll and look and buy without vendors coming at us from all directions to buy. Ended up walking out from the stress of it all. Was not an enjoyable experience at all compared to other markets in Vietnamese.

This is my third year in a row and as usual went to my reliable ladies (3 sisters) at Shop 408-412. Excellent service and prices for shorts/tops etc. Use entrance on western side opposite money changers; second aisle on the right, head south and they are about 500 metres on the left hand corner . Please tell them "Papa " on the internet sent you.

I enjoy visiting markets, they are always enjoyable to wander around and sample some food but it's just a market. If you're in the city and near by, go visit, but I wouldn't describe it as a must see.

Good place to shop for local stuff to bring back to your country for gift. The money changer near the food stall has very good exchange rate. Unbelievable rate was slightly higher than market rate. Cashew nuts , white, black and even red peppers are available. Oh! And of course local fresh fruits. Must try durian, jackfruit and many more that I can’t name but must try. There are good.

This market is a busy but nice place to see!

This market is a busy but nice place to see! I enjoyed seeing all of the souvenirs and food for sale. I visited on my walkvietnam.com outdoor escape game, which led us through here. Definitely an experience not to miss in Ho Chi Minh

I loved it but make sure no mater what the price they give...

I loved it but make sure no mater what the price they give you to say half of that. They were always taking it. But the prices on the shoes and things which are nice to me are at a good price already. Watch out for these people running around trying to clean your shoes they want way too much and just start doing them even if you say no.

We stayed at Hotel for few days. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are spacious, staff is friendly and food is good. Location is walking distance from Ben Thanh Market, Nguyen Hue Walking Street. There is no Uber here but Grab works the same! I highly recommend this stunning hotel!

I booked a 2-room apartment and had a pleasant stay — it really felt like home. The unit was spacious and cozy, with a kitchenette and a bathtub, which made our stay even more comfortable. Thankfully, the location is excellent — very close to Japanese Street, Ben Thanh Market, and Saigon Square. It was easy to find delicious restaurant and do some shopping nearby. The location is what I like the most. Walkable to most of every tourist spot, as long as you are into walking. A park and central market is just across the hotel, ben thanh Market is just about 15 minutes walk, so as saigon Square and about 20-30 minutes walk to the cafe apartment. At the back of the hotel, about a 10 minute walk to you'll be at the bui vien street where all the bar and street foods you'll be able to enjoy.

If you decide to go to the Ben Thanh market, be prepared to have you bargaining hat on. Everyone is friendly but there's a lot of grabbing and there is no air conditioning so it can be a bit overwhelming. Be comfortable with the currency conversion too so you can definitely grab some real bargains on souvenirs to take home; especially things like coffee and decorative lanterns and furniture. Opposite the Ben Thanh market and opposite the HCMC Fine Arts Museum is a brilliant street to buy antiques.
