Room was lovely. Linen was great quality and we really loved that they had multiple apps on the smart TV. The lounge area was also beautifully decorated! Staff were divine. All round, we had a lovely stay at the 360! :)

The hotel is very well positioned with amazing views from the roo. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were very polite and helpful. This was my first time in Clarens but I think the Protea Hotel is probably the best accomodation in the town.

The view from the Terrace of the surrounding mountains was excellent. A lovely sunset on the evening of our arrival, comfortable seats in which to share a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down. The two rooms for the family were opposite each other, spacious with most comfortable beds.

We had a fantastic week week at Clarens Country House. Toni and Pete are warm and interesting people and we had nice conversations with them. Both location and facilities are perfect and we had one of our best weeks ever on holidays. I can advise this guesthouse to everybody. The location has good wifi.

    I highly recommend that you get there a few hours earlier...

    I highly recommend that you get there a few hours earlier during your trip to your destination to experience the breath taking views of the mountains. There are numerous stop overs for photos and hikes, so carry your hiking boots too.

    Excellent location, 8km from Clarens and 13km from Golden Gate Highlands National Park. This is very much a FARM, not a resort. It’s rustic, unpretentious, busy and noisy during daylight and silent at night. It’s the perfect place to drop off the grid for a few days. The units are converted farm buildings clustered around the farmhouse. Eclectic and full of character. Friendly hosts and four lovely farm dogs!

    Communication with Erich was very good, he is a lovely host. The property is superb. Location is great Town is only an 800m walk or drive, and 30 min drive to Golden Gate Highlands National Park. The apartment had everything you could possibly need, and all good quality. Highly recommend.

    Excellent location, just outside town but literally 1km from all amenities. 17 min from the exquisite Golden Gate Highlands National Park - a must see. The town of Clarens is breathtaking too. Willow Creek Villas is a peaceful, safe location to take your family, the unit is well-equipped and the views from the cottage are heavenly to wake up to.
