Danny is a super lovely and attentive host who lives next door. The cottage was very cozy, clean, spacious, and well-equipped. There's also a washing machine if you need to do your laundry. It has its own terrace/garden where you can enjoy the sun, have breakfast or a braai. The location is also great, a grocery store is just around the corner and Howick Falls and the Nelson Mandela Capture Site are just a short drive away. The rooms was a spacious twin bed. (There are rooms of different sizes) Beds were comfortable and it is convenient to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Limited coffee tea etc supplied but more available on request. In future we would take beverages to suit our own needs. The gas stove is a winner during loadshedding. The village of Howick really has alot to offer, the Howick Falls, Karkloof Market on the weekend and lovely coffee shops (Bluebird is excellent) and some lovely shops as well.
