Th whole site is very beautiful, well managed, clean, diverse and natural. You can also meet nice people staying there, and the staff are very nice. I loved the owners and their energy as well.

what a relaxing place to enjoy the ocean and local life. About 2km away from Sanyang Beach "Center" with small restaurants, little shops and colourful fishing boats. It takes about 30min to walk there on the beach. Bosofet has only 6 rooms, all with a veranda and in front a palm tree garden and the ocean and beach, which is very clean for Gambia concerns. Omar and his friends and staff organize everything you ask for and help whereever they can. And theres also LUCKY, the Bosofet dog if you like hugging - he´s so friendly too. Bosofet is also a good place if you what to explore the Southwest of The Gambia like Brikama or Kartong. Breakfast and other meals are provided if ordered in advance at very reasonable costs. WIFI ist working well. Bring moskito spray! Thank you Omar and all the others for your hospitality!

The host was on point if their was to be an issue. It was solved within minutes. Alaji was 10 0ut of 10. The breakfast was tasty after he hired a new young lady and very clean, I came back, and my room was spotless, I'm grateful. Mohumad is a special kind of man.

A very beautiful comfortable and well-kept lodge, the surrounding garden is totally lush and idyllic with lots of singing birds that will wake you up in the morning. I loved its traditional design, you can tell a lot of care and attention went into it. The hosts and the staff were super friendly and helpful at all times and will make you feel at home. Exceptional hosts who truly make you feel at home in a peaceful, relaxing setting—perfect for recharging. The rooms are clean and fresh, and I ended up eating all my meals here because the food was delicious. Helen’s fried rice became my lunch favorite, and the dishes served at dinner were always on point. Oliver and Helen- thanks for a very positive first experience of The Gambia. I Love waking waking up in this serene environment with a huge variety of birds singing songs. Footsteps is very well managed and maintained, the staff is super friendly, well trained and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. The environment is stunning and the lush gardens are extensive featuring a bird hide and a yogashala with yoga mats provided. The organic gardens provide fresh produce, and the kitchen serves both delicious local dishes and a high standard of international dishes, all presented lovingly with a big smile which nurtures a feeling of being completely taken care off. I have been coming to the Gambia for 13 years staying in various accommodations. While some are good when they first open, many fall apart quickly due to poor management. Not so at footsteps. Footsteps has provided me with consistently fabulous holidays over many years. A big thank you to the entire team.
