Superb location on the border to Arusha National Park. It is a big compound with half more wooded and the other half more open. Excellent for bird watchin and for strolling around. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The dog Pamba followed me round and was great company. I love the organic food and that the houses are cleverly build so that aircondition is not needed. No lawn mowers (sheep). Monkeys, Gennet and bush babies in the garden. The local bird excursion to some local wetlands in the village was excellent. I would like to return with my family

I liked the room ,it was very nice and comfortable. Room was clean and had lovely balcony with a lovely wives. Beautiful gardens and view of the both mountains. We were greeted by lovely staff and made welcome.

Our time at Airport Planet Lodge was an excellent stay and a great value! We were there for 1 night as we awaited our flight to the Serengeti, but would have liked to stay longer! We visited during a low season so we pretty much had the service of the full staff to ourselves, which was such a bonus. The location was perfect- very close to Kilimanjaro Airport. The lodge had a complimentary airport shuttle so that made our transfer very easy. Our adjoining rooms (we were 2 adults and 2 children) were quite spacious and clean. The AC was refreshing and the hot shower was relaxing. The beds were also comfortable. We took our dinner in our room (exhausted from our flight!), and we happily fell asleep with full bellies. We were treated to a delicious breakfast buffet, which had both local and Western options. Highly recommend this lodge if you need a place to stay in Kilimanjaro.

There’s a homey feel Kobe Homestay has that draws you in and makes you relax. Been traveling for over a month now and this felt like a home away from home. The decor is so cute! All around the house, you’ll find antiques from the 90s and other decades. The nostalgia definitely hits when you see them. The fact that it is a walking distance from the city makes more special. There are several kiosks to shop if you’ll want to make your own meals.
