Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I had the pleasure of staying at the Prom Coast Holiday Lodge in Waratah Bay for one night from June 17th to June 18th, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Arrival and Check-in Despite arriving quite late at around 9 PM, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff had left clear instructions for late arrivals, which was very thoughtful and made me feel welcomed right away. Accommodation The lodge itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of travel. Facilities The lodge boasts excellent facilities. The fully equipped kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation, and the living area was perfect for relaxing. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which was reliable and fast, making it easy to stay connected. Surroundings The location is stunning, nestled in the serene environment of Waratah Bay. Waking up to the tranquil surroundings and the sound of nature was truly refreshing. Although I only stayed for one night, I could see how this place would be perfect for longer stays, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall Experience Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the Prom Coast Holiday Lodge. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. Offering self-contained chalets with a double spa bath, a private patio and panoramic mountain views, Halls Gap Valley is located next to the Grampians Gariwerd National Park. The property features free Wi-Fi, BBQ facilities and a sunny terrace.

Halls Gap Lodges are 10 minutes’ walk from Grampians Adventure Golf, and 10 minutes’ drive from Halls Gap Zoo. Melbourne is a 3-hour drive away. The luxury villa was fantastic and had everything we wanted. Attention to details was wonderful. We loved the secluded location and the abundance of wild life. The view from the backyard, the tables and chairs and the hammock was a lovely addition! The bbq grill worked well and we thoroughly enjoyed making food. Firewood was available in the forest nearby and the fire pit was fun to toast marshmallows. The jacuzzi worked really well and everything in the villa was wonderful. Undoubtedly, the best and well maintained place we have stayed at the Grampians.

Each of these chalets features timber ceilings, a modern kitchen, polished wooden floors and a spacious living area that leads out to a wide veranda, where you can watch kangaroos and deer wander past. Beautifully thought out, extremely comfortable, everything you could want and more. Also - we arrived a bit late on a cold evening and Alan had put on the heat pump for us so the chalet was warm and cosy when we got in :)
