It was very kind of them and we are very grateful! The hostess prepared the most delicious breakfast. So delicious! I hope we will meet again someday! The location of the guesthouse is also great, halfway to the valley. The nature is so beautiful and the sunrises from the cottage are amazing! We felt very private in our cottage, there was also hot water. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the sleep was good. We are very happy that we chose this guesthouse.

The roof didn't leak a droplet even when it rained very hard (I had other experiences in other places...). The shower is hot. It was a delicious spread, offering a variety of fresh, high-quality options. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, it was a perfect way to start the day. Overall, I would highly recommend Selva Verde, to anyone seeking a relaxing retreat with outstanding customer service. Mary’s incredible assistance, along with the peaceful setting and fantastic breakfast, made this stay unforgettable. I look forward to returning!

The accommodations are in a late 1800s farm house with modernization to make it comfortable but not detract from the atmosphere. (Wifi, plunge pool). The family welcomed us enthusiastically and allowed us to participate in farm activities as we desired. There are areas to relax, read, play board games, and observe nature (including a trail through a bamboo forest). We added a day to our stay to make the most of what is offered. Breakfast is provided at time convenient to guest... eggs/arepa/coffee/hot chocolate/fresh fruit and juice. Meals are also available for an additional price (local food for reasonable price ). A section of the refrigerator was available for our personal drinks and food. This is a great option for families or couples or single travelers. Lola the parrot even greets you in the morning! Hola!!
