The common area and the pool were amazing. We went there for 4 days during our honeymoon. I highly recommend this location. And oh my god, the breakfast was one of the tastiest I have ever had at the Oasis Fusion Resturant.

This is in the most stunning location and all the lodges are surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. The path entering onto the beach is magical. We came by bus and enjoyed using the bikes to explore the area. (Bring your own bike lights!) We had the suite and loved the cosy kitchen as a place to be in the evening. Kitchen was very well equipped, it even had a teapot which we really appreciated! For the carless - local restaurant 'Selvin' is a few minutes walk away and is really good, but it is only open Thursday-Sunday. Other places you need to walk at least 1/2 hour or bike or TukTuk. Very lovely and helpful Nicole, the onsite manager, as well as the smiling gardener who brought us coconut water, grapefruits and bananas. Will carry on dreaming about this place and hope to return!

Absolutely beautiful. Our favourite stay so far. The site is phenomenal - we explored the grounds and loved the nature. The staff were amazing they went above and beyond. Cabin was beautiful and totally allowed disconnection from the world. Lovely breakfast - all fresh from the garden. We loved it.

I really like the design of bungalows with open bathroom and toilet behind the door. We were looking for something in the middle of the jungle to feel the nature and this is what we needed. There are no glass in the windows so you can hear all animals all the time but everywhere is the mesh so no insects inside. We didn’t have any mosquitoes during the night which is cool. Humidity in Costa Rica is high and it’s hard to dry clothes or towels but they change your towels every day. There are not many rooms/bungalows so it’s very intimate hotel. Breakfasts are very tasty and the owner is super nice, communicative and helpful!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Fantastic place with a beautiful garden, plenty of wildlife! The hosts are super welcoming, taking their time to show you around and help spot the animals (sloths, toucans, lizards etc). The pool is also very nice as well as the beach just across the street - it has shade, more sloths and feels safe for kids. We would have happily spent more time there!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. Spędziliśmy tu wspaniały czas z trójką naszych dzieci. Wynajęliśmy willę z dwiema sypialniami i była pięknie urządzona, miała wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy. W każdym oknie były moskitiery, więc mogliśmy spać i słuchać odgłosów dżungli. Nie było klimatyzacji, ale nie była nam potrzebna, wiatraki w zupełności wystarczały. Gospodarz był bardzo wspierający, odpowiadał na wszystkie nasze pytania i prośby. Jest tu świetny basen, wieża widokowa, z której oglądaliśmy tukany, codziennie rano słyszeliśmy wyjce. Ogród jest piękny i bardzo zadbany. W okolicy są supermarkety, super park narodowy w Cahuita. Widzieliśmy w okolicy mnóstwo leniwców. Nasze dzieci płakały, jak wyjeżdżaliśmy. Chętnie wrócimy!
