My wife and I recently stayed at Tabari Dive Lodge, and it was nothing short of magical. The lodge is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful location with its own private beach, offering the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. Every meal was exceptional—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. Our fist meal the evening we arrived was grilled stuffed King Prawns!! One unforgettable detail: while dining, we watched black-tip reef sharks and moray eels gliding beneath us in the water, It was like dining in an aquarium. The staff went above and beyond. When my wife wasn’t feeling well, they brought her meals to her in bed and even made her a soothing homemade ginger tea. Their kindness and attention made all the difference. Special thanks to Bridget, the owner, who was always around and ready to help with anything we needed. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home. As for the diving—absolutely world class. We experienced so many unforgettable moments, including a giant manta ray that hovered above us—a true bucket list moment! Even snorkeling just off the beach was incredible. We genuinely loved everything about our stay. If you're looking for unspoiled beauty, amazing marine life, top-notch service, and unforgettable diving, Tabari Dive Lodge is the place to go. We’re already planning our return! We stayed at the Swiss Belhotel before and after Tabari, it's a perfect transit hotel, clean and convenient. Friwen Mangrove Eco Lodge se nachází v destinaci Yennanas Besir a poskytuje zahradu, terasu, bar a výhled na moře. This was one of our favourite places to stay anywhere! There were so many reasons why: 1. Rashid and Eka, the owners, were amazing hosts. We quickly felt like we were part of the family. Rashid is passionate about Raja Ampat's underwater life and took us on amazing tours. We saw such incredible sights. 2. The bungalows are located on a spectacular reef. You can see so much by snorkelling directly from your bungalow steps. 3. The staff were wonderful! (And great karaoke singers!) 4. There are only three bungalows so far and all the guests eat together for lunch and dinner. We got to know wonderful people from around the world. 5. We spent a week here and a week at a much more expensive resort and this one came out tops for value by far. 6. A village is nearby which was really interesting to visit. 7. Note that the location near mangroves is a positive. We experienced no significant insect issues here and the mangroves harboured amazing fish life.

We stayed on Gam at Methos for a few nights and and the remainder of our stay on Kri and we really wished we had stayed at Methos longer. What I liked the most was the coral reef in front of the bungalow as it was absolutely stunning. You can see so much wildlife right from the deck. I saw baby sharks, stingrays, cuttlefish, etc directly in front which is wonderful for snorkelers. The room itself was very comfortable, with shelves to unpack your things and a large four-poster kingsize bed. The bathrooms are around 100 meters from the rooms and were clean enough. Alternatively....there is the ocean. They give you water tanks for fresh water to drink from and use for washing your hands in your rooms as well as large thermoses each day containing boiled, hot water for coffee/tea. We went on three tours with Methos as well - Gam, Manusuar, and the bird watching tour. The tours were all well-planned and well-organized. I went on many tours from Kri, but the day I went with Methos to Manusuar, I saw way more. About 15 minutes from Methos, we jumped off the boat and saw about 15 Mantas swimming together at the surface. The guide from the guidehouse brought banana peels and when we went to Yenbuba jetty, we were surrounded by tons of tropical fish which was really amazing. We saw around 5-6 turtles. The jellyfish lake was also really closeby and it was so cool to swim with jellyfish that weren't constantly attacking you (which wasn't the case for Kri..). The bird watching tour didn't end up resulting in seeing too much, but that's just a matter of luck, not the fault of the tour. As for the room, they gave us a container to keep food in so we didn't have any issues with pests. The homestay is also close to three villages that sell snacks and drinks which wasn't the case for Kri island. It's nice to be able to go for a walk and stretch your legs and the locals were all friendly towards us.

AMAZING snorkelling right off the jetty… the variety and abundance of coral and sea life along their house reef was just spectacular. Well maintained grounds. Great beach getaway atmosphere and good food. Friendly helpful staff, onsite dive shop and reasonable prices for equipment rental. Reliable speedboat transfer back to ferry terminal in Waisai.

The Jeti Mangrove - Ecolodge, Cottage, Restaurant & Kali Biru, Blue River se nachází v destinaci Rabia a nabízí zahradu, terasu a bar. Nice small Homestay with very friendly and helpfull stuff. You can Rent a Kajak and go to the Blue River there . The people are so friendly. So get to Know a real authentical indonesian family .

Daroyen Village se nachází v destinaci Kri a nabízí zahradu, soukromou pláž, sdílený lounge, terasu, vybavení pro grilování a výhled na moře. We spent 6 nights with Herman and his family at Daroyen village, and loved every moment of it. The location is stunning, bungalows over the water are basic but incredible, food delicious, and his family are lovely although very quiet and keep to themselves a lot. Herman was always making sure we were enjoying our time and was helpful meeting us in Waisai, and helping to buy the boat ticket back to Sorong. Etlin was amazing too, meeting us in Sorong at both ends of our trip and making sure we got to our hotel. We did 4 dives with Herman and Peter (dive guide) and felt safe with Peter as our guide. The dive equipment was a bit old and we were hesitant at first, but being comfortable in the water and with diving, we were so glad we went because the diving is insanely good. If you’re new to diving or not confident in assessing equipment/risks, I would suggest diving elsewhere. Amazing snorkelling right out in front on the drop off, and plenty of fish life around the nearby jetty’s.
