The unit was very clean, comfortable, including all the amenities that you would need for a home-stay or just to have relaxing rest after a long day exploring Nikko. We went in November and it gets really cold at night, the unit was quick to warm up and the sauna is definitely a plus. 10/10 Recommend for short or long stays.

Spacious and comfortable! Great attention to detail with many nice amenities. Loved the big dining table and comfy couches, outdoor sitting and grill were great, too. Ample bedrooms, with 5 toilets snd 2 showers. Loved having a kind of secret staff that did the dishes every night. Host was immensely helpful in making recommendations and providing advice.

There is plenty of space inside, plus a lovely terrace and a small garden outside. The house is located on a hill with a view of the valley. The driveway to the upper houses is steep and includes a 180-degree turn. We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed it. Check-in was contactless and easy. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which are perfect for longer stays. All in all, it’s a very nice accommodation surrounded by nature that invites you to stay longer.

Set among Nikko’s peaceful forests and mountains, Nikko Park Lodge Mountain Side offers homely accommodation with free Wi-Fi just steps from hiking trails. Super cozy decor and in beautiful nature. The owner is great! And they can prepare a delicious vegan dinner too! (Huge plus is the common hot bath, which was sooo good!)
