I was definitely worth coming here for the food. It was raining when we arrived but the next day it was beautiful. The pension was located in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Marushige is gelegen in Nozawa Onsen op 22 km van skigebied Ryuoo Ski Park, en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning en gratis WiFi. De lodge biedt een Amerikaans ontbijt of Aziatisch ontbijt. I loved everything here. Usually lodge has only Japanese futon in tatami room but we slept comfortably in bed. Breakfast was tasty and hospitality was incredible. They also have sauna 😍

Pension Belnina bevindt zich in Hakuba in de regio Nagano, dicht bij wintersportgebied Happo One en busterminal Hakuba Happo. Belnina had a very nice family feel. Taka, Seiko and their friend Danny made our stay fantastic. Taka was very helpful with resort information and went beyond by picking us up and dropping us to the station. Seiko and Danny did a great job with breakfast, especially with the homemade baking. The drying room was great and the onsen was a great addition after a day on the slopes. We will definitely be back!

ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B is gelegen in Chino en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge ligt in Yamanouchi, op 20 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Iedere unit heeft een zitgedeelte en een eetgedeelte. Amazing place! So cozy and welcoming. Staff are so sweet!

Pension Tomato ligt op 10 minuten rijden van Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort en biedt ruime kamers in westerse stijl met een loft. We loved our stay at Pension Tomato. The host was really kind and picked us up from the train station in Hakuba. Along with this, when dropping us off after our stay, he stopped at the Yamato centre so we could send ski bags to the next accomodation, a huge help. We stayed in the 6 bunk lodge, fantastic. The amenities were very, very clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent. Spacious enough, with a nice area to relax in and kitchen bench to make easy meals. We also utilised the in-house onsens - a great choice as they were incredibly relaxing and peaceful after a ski, really clean and nice tranquil forest views. There are multiple, bookable for mixed or non-mixed onsens. The breakfast which you book the day before is great too. A few minutes walk from the main echoland strip and rental place for ski/snow gear. That’s where shuttles for Happo-One and Hakuba 47 stop too, so convenient to get to the mountains in the morning.

Log Cottage Epoch ligt op 10 minuten lopen van Happo One Ski Resort en u kunt een hele cottage huren. Elke ruime cottage is voorzien van gratis WiFi en beschikt over een keuken en een woonkamer. Fantastic log cottages, very cosy and comfortable. A short walk away from Happo-One ski resort. The onsen is wonderful too.
