This is such a charming, cozy hotel with only 6 rooms, which makes the whole stay feel almost private and exclusive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel is right in front of the beach, and the beachfront area is clean, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The staff — including the manager — are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. They truly go above and beyond for any request. They even prepared a breakfast box for us on the morning we left early for whale watching, which was so thoughtful. Breakfast at the hotel was also delicious: fresh fruits, tea/coffee, and a great selection of dishes. We had dinner one night as well — the seafood platter was super tasty! A lovely stay — highly recommended! 🐬✨

The atmosphere from the patio alone was worth the (very affordable) cost. Monkeys and many different birds make an appearance every day. The owner and staff were super helpful. Thank you! <3

The location was perfect—just a five-minute walk to the beach, yet backing onto the jungle, which made it beautifully peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved spending time on the balcony watching and listening to the resident wildlife. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

I liked the location, the view, the room (ac was working perfectly, hot water, comfortable bed). The homemade food they were making was tasty and also reasonable priced. Also by the river seeing crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys and comodo dragon was fascinating.

We like the place a lot, it's new and more villas are still being built. Have a small patio to eat breakfast in the morning. The villa is a bit dim but gives a cosy atmosphere. Also it has warm water heater! The owner though is the best part. He is so genuine and friendly, tries to help and cooks really good traditional breakfast. We got unlucky with the weather and it rained a lot, so he offered us a ride to the center so we could get dinner. He also arranged a scooter for us and dropped us off at the bus stop, one of the best hosts we ever had! Location is close to Hiriketiya restaurants and shops, 10min walk away.

Cannelle Hill Cabanas se nachází v destinaci Deniyaya a nabízí venkovní bazén a terasu. Tato chata má soukromý bazén, zahradu, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a možnost vlastního stravování. Krásné, klidné a hlavně čisté ubytování kousek od silnice obklopené skořicí a pralesem. Majitel velmi milý a ochotný provedl nás po okolí a dal kontakt na úžasného průvodce po pralese. Byli jsme nadšení, nejkrásnější ubytování na Srí Lance. Jidlo bylo také skvělé. Standardně 10 nedávám ale tady musím. Děkujeme a rádi se vrátíme!

Subodinee Bungalow nabízí restauraci, venkovní bazén, zahradu a terasu. Pláž Midigama Beach se nachází 400 metrů odtud. Wonderful place close to the beach, but still quiet and secluded. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Several bungalows are hidden in green, vast area so you feel isolated from other guests. The pool is great :). Breakfasts are diversified, so every day you can try different meal. Walking distance, 3 min., to Midigama center. We will most ceirtainly come back!

You sit on your own balcony surrounded by views of rain forest, mountain tops, birds in all colours. The extremely friendly host family prepares tasty sri lankan food, offer you fruits from their own garden - they have ALL sorts of interesting fruits depending on season. They show you around their tea plantage and all in all just makes you feel good. The cabana (cottage) has all basics and is very clean. This is not luxury, but I personally didn't miss anything. My best recommendations!

The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a shared kitchen which had all the basic cooking utensils. Breakfast was delicious and varied day to day, including a hot breakfast and fruits. The lodge is across the road from a very nice swimming bay and is also a short distance from surf spots and trendy cafes. Excellent hosts. Good value for money.
