If you are looking for a place that has true serenity and tranquility, and some of the most stunning, unparalleled views in ourika, this is it. The national park was literally directly behind the property, with immediate access to day hikes through the valleys. Yes, there is no WiFi, but that's its true charm. All one could hear, was the odd donkey bray, or goat bleat down below some km or so away. Apart from that, the magical air of hearing absolutely nothing, except the wind rustling through the olive trees, is to die for for city folk polluted by noise 24/7. There are no other hotels or guesthouses. You are truly surrounded by villagers living their normal lives. And then the food, and the hospitality. Food was not gourmet, but really authentic, superbly tasty and so plentiful, that we learnt to skip lunch to make space for dinner, after such a hearty breakfast. I could not fault the hosts on anything. People can be glib these days about magical places where they stayed etc, but this one truly hits the mark. Thank you Hicham.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Best hotel I stayed in, ever. I felt instantly warmly welcomed by Mostafa, Nawal, Mohammad, Abdelali and Abdelmajid. The scenery and the food fed our soul and stomach. The room design and features honour the magic location of this ecolodge. I leave a bit of me behind, and take a bit of them with me. I am grateful to everyone at Le Douar Berbère for assisting me all the way.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. The location was perfect, serene, quiet, peaceful. Breakfast was also great, we had no issues. The staff were super super nice, helpful and friendly. My husband and I had an amazing time. We drove down from Casablanca and it was easy to get to. It was a fun adventure considering we had never been to the dessert.

Amazing service, the family that runs it is super friendly and helpful, always putting our needs first and ensuring we had a good time. We liked our room, it had a cosy balcony with a view of the mountains. And the breakfast was huge! They helped us with getting a guide for a short walk, and the guide Mohamad was lovely too. The residents of Imlil were super hospitable and the environment awe-inspiring. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return.

Mohammad was just brilliant- he was funny but also very professional, dependable and catered to our questions and needs (one of us was vegetarian, we organised a walking tour one day, asked him to bring us something from town another time). the property is divine: green, calm, clean, there is sun and shade and it all felt so wholesome.

Immaculately clean and wonderful, friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. The food is out of this world and the property itself is huge and beautifully kept. We hope to be back sooner rather than later. Atlas Smile mountain retreat would surely be one of the greatest artists of all time.Do try the cookery classes with a tour of the vegetable and herb garden. A special place.peaceful gardens, luxurious accommodations and attentive service. This is a place to relax but also to get to know the Berber culture.

Not a lot of visual clutter so it’s very relaxing here. The open terrace on the roof provides both sun and shade comfortably. The dorm room is clean and cozy, different types of mattresses to chose from-Big luxury at a hostel! You can use the rooftop kitchen and it’s clean , well equipped and the fridge is CLEAN! The area is quiet and secluded and you can walk to the beach, hiking opportunities and no one bothers you to buy things. The host is a FABULOUS cook so you should experience her cuisine! Showers are excellent, clean and roomy. The owner takes great care to keep everything clean in the bathrooms. Water is hot and the pressure is good for showers.
