The location was 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo, breakfast was excellent. Angie and Garth were incredibly friendly giving us help with places to eat and all around the local area. Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything was perfect for our family. We really loved the spa and it was always available when we wanted to have a hot spa.

Tongariro Lodge is located in 22 acres of secluded grounds, surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape and along the banks of Tongariro River. A very picturesque location and the grounds were amazing. The restaurant menu and food was exceptional.
