The hosts were fantastic and very friendly. They made a really tasty breakfast for us and gave lots of advice on our trip.

Located among breath-taking views of the Peruvian Amazon, Bosque Guardian Lodge is only 40 minutes away from the city of Tarapoto’s airport, in San Martin Region. The lodge is next to the Cordillera Escalera conservation area and, for that reason, some of the Bosque Guardian Association’s main goals are to protect the environment through reforestation, educational activities, and wildlife monitoring. The lodge was very secluded and perfect for being in nature and relaxing. The view from the Mountain View lodge was stunning. The bed was very comfortable. The room had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the activities. We would absolutely recommend this lodge for some peaceful time in nature.

Cadete FAP Guillermo del Castillo Paredes Airport is 15 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. I had a very peaceful stay at Puqio! The area is absolutely beautiful and the hosts were lovely. Perfect place to relax and unwind. I hope to return soon!
