It is cooked on site, the food is very good, cooked like at mother's home. Secured parking space. It is also a good starting point for many tourist routes.

Though the whole complex has the air of a resort from the Communist era, it turned out things are far better than I read in older comments. The room was quite big, with a nice huge balcony, and the bathroom was modernized and had a big tub. Everything was clean (though we've found two lost so ks in one of the wardrobes). We ate at Iadolina restaurant and the food was also very good, big servings well cooked. The breakfast was satisfying, too, and the waiter was very polite and prompt. There aren't many accomodations in Stâna de Vale, which is a very small resort, but ours was the right choice.

We could play billiard while we waited for our dinner, we could hang out in the garden on some hammocks, we enjoyed a spa with a hot tub and a sauna. There is a giant fireplace for campfires surrounded by swings and an outdoor kitchen for barbecues. The food was great value fort money, and the staff was very friendly. The guy who worked there was very attentive and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we need. I stayed only a night with my wife, but I recommend this place also for larger get-togethers with friends and family. By far the best place to stay in the area.
