You’re a few kilometres away from town, which is great for disconnecting from the usual humdrum of shops and tourists. Huy took great care of us, helped book a reasonably priced boat tour, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast and the a la carte dinner of Vietnamese fare were both delicious. If you’re in Cat Ba, this is a great place to stay for a different experience than the usual.

The beach that this bungalow is located on is very beautiful. It's just outside of town, so it's nice and quiet, but close enough to walk into town if you wanted. Our host was very kind and accommodating. We rented scooters through him for a very reasonable price, and he had them dropped off at the bungalow for us. Highly recommend this place!
