From the incredible views, top class breakfast and dinner prepared by the chef, beautiful room (we were given the family room upgrade- spectacular!) and most of all kindness of the Hosts Martie and Ben who were so lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The pool is really nice, sunset views from the water and the surrounding area is great. It has a sunrise viewing area just a few mins walk and then a great walking trail right from the lodge (about an hour walk). Thank you to Martie, Ben, chef and all the team - this lodge is stunning!

Its the perfect place to make a short break if you are doing safari in Kruger. It has e restaurant with friendly staff and a very good kitchen. The rooms are quite big and the garden around the pool area is just stunning. There is also a three stories high lookout- perfect to enjoy your sundowner. I can really recommend this place

From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She meticulously planned all our trips, making our time in the area absolutely hassle-free. Her personal touch truly made a difference, especially when she kindly lent me her own binoculars for our safari activities. This thoughtful gesture enhanced our experience tremendously. We also appreciated the convenience of the breakfast baskets, which allowed us to enjoy delicious meals even with our early starts. The Bohemian decor of the lodge added a unique charm to our stay, making it both cozy and visually appealing. The romantic dinner our host arranged was a highlight of our trip. The beautiful decoration and intimate setting created a memorable evening for us. To top it all off, the lodge's unique location allowed us to experience wildlife up close, as we had the amazing opportunity to encounter a duiker and even a giraffe right at the lodge! Additionally, the lodge's location is very close to Hoedspruit airport and many reserves, making it an ideal place to stay. On the last day of our stay, we had a luxurious breakfast at the lodge, adding a touch of elegance to our experience. Overall, the value for money at African Flair is exceptional. I want to thank the staff of Maroelani lodge. We stayed may 15-17 and it was a Amazing experiencie. The service, the atenttion, the rooms, the food and the game drives. We had a welcome drink that was so good & also all the wines and cocktails were excelent. It was my birthday and they made it extra special, one of the most wonderful ones. They even sang happy birthday to me with a cake and decorate my room. It was the best service, stay here. You won't regret it. Thank thank you for the incredible stay.
