Our stay at this boutique hotel was truly exceptional – the staff were professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The room was very comfortable with perfect air conditioning. Hotel Voramar is very centrally located on the promenade of L'Escala. It reopened in 2022 after a 5 year renovation so all the facilities are still in good condition. It has a beautiful look and is stylishly decorated. We stayed there 2 nights in the offseason: 1 in a double room with sea view and 1 in a junior suite with sea view. To be honest: their weekday prices in the low season are downright cheap. Especially the junior suite is a steal. It has a big bed, spacious bathroom, a sofa and a balcony. All with perfect views of the sea. Breakfast is either a buffet or à la carte. The buffet is great with everything you can wish for in a breakfast. The à la carte version is more basic, still ok but not nearly as good as the buffet. I think it depends on the number of guests if they bring out the buffet so it's worth checking this at reception. The hotel doesn't have its own parking but there are plenty of parking spaces on the promenade. Parking in L'Escala is free from Sept. 15 until June 15 so in the high season parking might be more difficult. All in all we were very happy to have found this hotel and next time we are in L'Escala we'll definitely try to stay there again.

Stunning interiors throughout the whole hotel, cleverly inspired by Dali. HUGE room with freestanding bath and all kinds of lovely details - an extra bed behind curtains, large shower, lovely toiletries, coffee maker... A really large roof terrace with big pool - amazing views for sunset too. Lovely bar and second chilling area in a fun interior courtyard. Really friendly staff who made us complimentary coffees to take away as we checked out in the morning. Amazing location just off the main Ramblas - all the main attractions and beautiful areas to eat are within 5mins walking.

It’s a gorgeous place, a beautiful medieval structure that was superbly renovated, located in the country and close to a polo club. The room in which an excellent breakfast was served is facing east. The dining room is located in a separated structure off the terrace. Menu is limited but delicious though my husband did not enjoy the roasted pork dish. Carlos looked after us with style and charisma, and all the staff was friendly and most accommodating.

Lovely villa in a great location for the town - less than 10 minutes to walk to several bars, restaurants and the castle. Also the winery which is an interesting tour. Ralf effectively makes his home your own as he generously provides food, drink, wood for the outdoor grill etc. Great host!
