We had a 2 night stay. We would book again. The Manager and staff were exceptional, professional, friendly and provided first class service. The restaurant, The Forge is excellent Michelin guide level but without doubt was at Michelin star quality. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. A good choice of beverages and wine. The cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel was of a high standard. I liked the quirky decor design throughout the hotel. We were a group of mum’s & daughters celebrating 80th and 85th birthdays - the entire staff made us very welcome and made our stay special. Added plus was complimentary soft drinks were provided in the bedroom fridge. The hotel is mobility accessible throughout with the exception that the beds in both standard and the accessible room were very high and difficult to get into. A NCP car park is available 5 minimum walk from the hotel.

On a quiet street, Stone Villa is a 5-minute walk from Chester Station. It offers free parking, rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and an extensive breakfast menu.

Inside the old walls of the city and only 5 minutes from the centre and restaurant. I really appreciate the room and the big bathroom. Everything was good and remodelling with good taste.

The accommodation was super cozy. I really loved the underfloor heating – I absolutely enjoy walking barefoot, and it was amazing! The large panoramic windows were a great feature, but the curtains closed fully for privacy. The hosts’ yard was well-maintained and beautifully decorated with lights, adding to the charming atmosphere. The house is located in the forest, making it incredibly peaceful. One of the things I appreciated the most was the cleanliness – the room was spotless, meeting high European standards. Not a single stain on the glass or a speck of dust anywhere. There were also plenty of toiletries available, so everything you might need was provided. If you ever need anything extra, you can simply drive down the hill where the accommodation is situated. In just two minutes, you’ll reach the first petrol station with a convenience store that stays open late. And in about 5–7 minutes by car, you’ll find yourself in Llangollen. Overall, a fantastic stay – highly recommended!

+ A personal and warm welcome on arrival by owners who are very relaxed and most helpfull. + Loved the animals (horses, chickens, dogs, a cat, etc.) on Pear Tree Farm. + Room was private and clean, bed very comfortable and clean. WIFI present. + Kitchen had all essentials for cooking and a cuppa. Wonderfull fresh eggs from own chicken, bread, milk, yoghurts, orange juice, porridge, tea/coffee, etc. All for a healthy breakfast / lunch. Towels, oven, kettle, toaster, hob, pans and so on. + Lovely seating spot with views over fields. + Location: very safe, sufficient private parking, day starts at sunrise as animals wake up, I loved it! No so good for late sleepers. + The pub 'The Nags Head' closeby. + Clear instructions from host how to get there. Quick response when messaging through Booking. + A lovely hideaway from city life.
