The hotel has such a traditional charm, and everything from the hospitality to the food to the overall atmosphere felt genuinely special. This was truly a rich family experience, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Berat Castle Hotel for anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of tradition, great food, and warm hospitality.

The location is very good in the middle of the castle, the view from there is amazing exactly like the staff.The girl who worked there was so nice helped us with everything that we needed and prepared something very sweet in the room for my birthday. She gave me flowers, a small cake and a bottle of wine that they are making by them self!! It was very tasty, try it when you are there. I would visit again!

The owner was so kind, and served us home made wine and raki at the terrace in the evening. We hade a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

The manager Efti was amazing and did everything she could to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable including finding me a softer pillow when I asked if they had one. The beds were big and very comfortable and there is a proper shower stall so the bathroom doesn’t get wet. The breakfast buffet was copious and varied. The location in the kalaja added to the ambience and I didn’t mind the walk over to the castle hotel for breakfast as it made me feel like a local walking around on the cobblestone paths. I liked it so much I stayed a 3rd night.
