Location was ideal. Security is important. The staff 'Marta' and others made sure to educate us where not to travel. The beaches are close walking down the road and there's huge mall to shop or eat a Windy's burger. Arica is upscale compared to Montanita, Ecuador or some beaches in Peru. We suggest walking the shoreline and enjoying various beaches and restaurants. The Chili's Peso . IE: 5,000 peso = $5.74 dollars. Or 23,000 mil pesos Colomiano.

Amazing location just adjacent from the beach and a short walk from a well stocked mall, grocery store, hardware store etc. Nice kitchen and indoor/outdoor seating. Lounge area with big TV and sofas, and storage for bicycles/surf boards etc. Upstairs bar and terrace. Nice staff. We stayed in deluxe room and it had everything including mini fridge, kettle, bathroom, ample storage, TV and drinking water.
