I really enjoyed the nice shower room, which was separated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Large windows with ample views of the city. Very good location near the old town, restaurants and shops within walking distance. All of this was made easily accessible to us by our host Tom, who welcomed us, showed us everything we needed and parking the car was also convenient, in an underground garage nearby. We communicated with Tom on WhatsApp before arriving and he guided us upon arrival, which is helpful in a foreign city. It was all very convenient.

Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.
