Dave and Chrissie were wonderful hosts – thoughtful and welcoming. We had the pleasure of meeting their beautiful spaniel, Leo, who was absolutely adorable! The lovely little touches, like the jar of local honey and the coasters, made it feel even more homely. The location was ideal for us, especially as it was close to friends we were visiting. We also highly recommend Leaf Design just down the road – a great spot for breakfast, with beautiful plants and gifts for sale too. We’d definitely love to stay again in the future!

Beautifully decorated throughout for Christmas and mince pies awaiting. The perfect place to celebrate Christmas. Lilac Lodge was exactly as described, but still exceeded our expectations with all that our Hosts had provided to ensure a cosy, relaxing and restful environment.
