Every room at The Close Hotel is individually decorated with a mix of antique and modern furniture, and most have views of the pretty garden. Features include a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and en suite bathroom. Tge staff were very attentive. The room - Jacobean - was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The bedding was lovely and we enjoyed the tea, coffee and treats provided in the room. The breakfast was outstanding, everything you could want was included. Great location with good parking and right in the middle of town.

Fine, local ingredients are used to prepare The Crown Inn’s superb choice of dishes, including the popular, traditional Sunday roasts. This is our second time staying, and we loved the cozy pub and exceptional meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the real fires that were lit throughout the pub and the dog-friendly atmosphere. It was a quiet place to stay with great views of the Golden Valley. I liked the local Corinium ale they had on tap.

Breakfasts were excellent, and the hotel is beautifully furnished with lovely extras in the room — tea and coffee tray, glasses, even fruit cake and cookies. We loved our stay— highly recommend!

Very easy walk to town centre and shops. Train just 8 / 10 minute drive. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There are a few stairs, so if you have heavy luggage, be aware of that.However, staff are accommodating with this ,if available . I highly recommend this place. Safe and secure.

The 4-star bed and breakfast features inner courtyard views and is 33 km from Cotswold Water Park. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. This was an amazing place. Perfectly located for trips to Cheltenham centre. Hugh and Gilly are wonderful hosts, made us feel so at home. The breakfast was fantastic, so much offered and everything was super tasty and fresh. The apartment had everything you could want and more, sofas, tvs, kitchen, storage. We only stayed one night but both agreed we could stay there for longer easily. Everywhere was clean and tidy, really relaxing place. The beds get their own paragraph. Everything about them makes you never want to get up, the pillows are snuggly, the quilt almost hugs you, but isn't too warm (we had a brief heat wave during our stay!) and the mattress was perfect. Really relaxing sleep. The wifi is excellent, I was able to do my work before breakfast, fast and no drop outs. It really felt like a home away from home and we will definitely return when anything brings us back near/in Cheltenham.
