We initially planned to stay for just 2 nights but ended up extending by 2 more because we loved the property so much. It was the perfect combination of comfort, warmth, and natural beauty. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, the host was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and cared for. On a day when there was no electricity in the whole of Kazbegi, she thoughtfully offered to provide us with hot water, which was such a generous and helpful gesture. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the facilities we needed. The host personally greets each guest when they arrive or leave, which adds such a warm, personal touch to the experience. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, often joined by a few friendly stray dogs and cats who love to sit nearby while you enjoy your coffee—such gentle and sweet companions. The location is peaceful, easy to access, and the mountain views are truly to die for. We would absolutely recommend this place to future guests and are already thinking about coming back again soon!

The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us! The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains. Our room had a well-stocked bath with robes. We ate dinner at the hotel each night, as we were tired from hiking each day. The food was terrific and the service was outstanding. The seating area is awesome for sitting and having drinks, also. The only thing lacking is the breakfasts. Fresh bread and fresher fruits and cereals would be helpful. The eggs, though, were good, and so was the coffee. Also, note for Americans and Europeans -- breakfasts are served throughout this area at 9 AM. I definitely would stay at the Mood Hotel again.

Each room has a different theme, which the administrator told us about. There are no boring rooms that look like every other hotel room. The breakfast was small but cute and delicious. The only thing missing was fresh bread! :D But the best part of the hotel is the staff. We often stay in hotels, but I have never encountered such a wonderful team. They felt like family to us—always helpful, quick to respond, and always smiling and joking. This is true not just for one person, but for everyone who works there! It was even a little bit sad to leave because of these kind-hearted people. You will never find this level of staff anywhere else. I truly wish them all the best and hope that every guest has the same experience.
