We chose this hotel mainly based on location and reviews — but what we discovered truly amazed us! This is a real paradise for children. Yes, parents are well taken care of too, but the main guests here are definitely the kids. Everything throughout the hotel is designed with children in mind: toy cars, play areas, drawing boards around every corner, a kids’ room, a special buffet at child height with a child-friendly menu, and a water park with zones for all ages. We only wish we had known about this place when our kids were younger. Of course, when you’re on holiday with kids, you’re still a parent — but this hotel makes life so much easier.

Everything to delight the eyes and the mouth. The area is quiet, suitable for walking. I liked it very much, it was more for older, quiet people. There were very few people and we enjoyed the bathing part of the house.

Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with Xbox One. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We stayed at Heviz Spring Apartments for just one night, but it left a lasting impression! We were warmly welcomed by the lovely Linda, who showed us to the spacious family apartment — fully equipped with everything one might need, even a baby crib! It was clear that the hosts had thoughtfully prepared for any situation. Although we didn’t get to use most of the amenities due to our short stay, we truly appreciated the attention to detail and care. A special thanks to our host Imre — when he found out we don’t eat meat, he kindly arranged for us to have a vegetarian dinner at his friend’s restaurant Cédrus, located in the center of Hévíz near the entrance to the lake. The meal was included in the price, which was an incredibly generous and thoughtful gesture! Breakfast was delightful, prepared by two wonderful ladies who clearly know what they’re doing and do it with passion.
