The location was amazing and perfect for exploring Killarney town. The breakfast was also way above expectations and with 6 of us it was hard to find places to stay that were reasonable and didn't require us to drive or take taxis etc. We loved our stay and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We will for sure be back. Can't recommend this hidden little gem more.

Irons, hairdryers and telephones are also provided and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. This is magnificent hotel where you want for nothing! The staff, Maura and Lorraine were so helpful. All the staff are accommodating and friendly. We were let down on our previous booking elsewhere and they welcomed us and made a very stressful situation into a positive one.

The Parknasilla Hotel's sweeping staircase leads past a stained glass window, towards the luxurious guest rooms. The modern and spacious rooms are decorated in light colours and include a TV and free Wi-Fi. The hotel and grounds were amazing, it was among one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The hotel itself is stunning, and the scenery is even better. We loved the pool, spa, and the facilities it offered. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good.

We had a lake view room, it was very spacious and clean and had beautiful views over the lake. Bed was comfortable, a large well stocked bathroom and there was a sofa and chairs, coffee and tea making facilities were available. There was also water dispensers on each floor.
We used the thermal suite, it was definitely worth it and apart from us there were only two other people using it at that time.
The days we were there only the bar was available for food, it was quite good.

Killarney
With a relaxed atmosphere complemented by old style charm and hospitality, the Old Weir Lodge features a spacious foyer and beautifully appointed resident's lounge which provide a comfortable and friendly setting. Went with my two sisters and Mum to celebrate her 80th. She had lived in Killarney in her 20s and kept saying how much she wished she could go back - but she doubted she ever would now. So we made it happen. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Wonderful property, fabulous staff and our family room - which slept four was light, spacious and spotlessly clean. We didn’t want a chain for this special visit. We wanted something more personal and from communication before we arrived, to the exceptional staff that served breakfast, to the guy behind the front desk, we were made to feel special. And talking of the breakfast, it was truly spectacular! We loved the scones and the porridge particularly 🤗 Thank you for a truly memorable few days.

Outstanding location. We landed plumb with the weather to be fair and it was just gorgeous. The bedroom views of the blue bay were superb. The staff couldn't be more helpful We were late in due to a delayed ferry and the young lad on reception sorted us out and gave us recommendations for local eateries for us to order in. Big shout out to Reece behind the bar. Outgoing and chatty, helped make you feel at home. Behind the scenes the chefs cooked up some supremely good food.
From the first greeting at reception, then all aspects of the stay, the staff were friendly, helpful, polite and cheerful. My room was very clean with a really comfy bed. Ensuite was spotless, with lashings of hot water. My evening meal was cooked to perfection, clearly the chef takes pride in his work and enjoys the job. Equally, the morning chef produced a superb breakfast to order. I would definitely stay here again and recommend.
Very clean, well appointed, comfortable and well maintained room. Great location We considered the hotel 4.5 stars for it’s overall appearance, furnishings and service. The Nespresso coffee machine capsules and chocolate luxury biscuits were an unexpected treat. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful grand building, luxurious fit out with a rural garden. Chef cooked breakfast was fabulous. Kathleen, the manager, was superb. We were in awe of her work abilities, her fun attitude, excellent knowledge and helpfulness.
