This homestay is small, which makes contacts with the host easier, and beautifully decorated. It is very close to Taj Mahal and in a good neighborhood. To be honest, I felt like home and would book it again if one day comes to Agra. They also provide dinner, and guests should definitely taste the delicious pottages the chef cooks. If you are planning a trip to Agra and want a peace-of-mind stay, Orchid Retreat is all you need. And with its popularity, the small number of rooms get booked quickly.

This truly is an exceptional hotel and I cannot praise it more highly. It was in a different league to anywhere else we stayed on our India trip and on many previous trips to India . The service was outstanding in all areas and the hotel management is very impressive. Every little details is well thought through. The location is incredible and our room with balcony had a fabulous view of the Taj Mahal. ( the only hotel which does). The decor is beautiful. The room has very comfort. The food was delicious. The pool was heated with comfortable sun beds.
