Ontbijt is in het restaurant; zeer uitgebreid Westers en Japans, super lekker. Ideale locatie; op vijf minuten wandelen van de ropeway naar een observatiepunt. Verschillende privé-onsens met zicht op Mt. Fuji wat zorgt voor een onvergetelijk ervaring!

Kasuitei Ooya is een hotel met een warmwaterbron in Japanse stijl en is rustig gelegen aan de oever van het Kawaguchimeer in de schilderachtige omgeving van de berg Fuji. Wat ons het meest beviel aan de Ryokan in Japan was de authentieke Japanse sfeer, de gastvrijheid en het comfort van de traditionele kamers.

THE TOKI fujikawaguchiko bevindt zich in Fujikawaguchiko, op 2 km van pretpark Fuji-Q Highland, en biedt uitzicht op de bergen. Most amazing self contained fully equipped place we’ve stayed. There were welcome packs (they had thought of everything) in both the kitchen and bathroom. Immaculately clean, modern and very comfortable. Projector screen in main room, tv in dining area, technology was out of this world. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Bessho Sasa ligt in Fujiyoshida, op 4,9 km van pretpark Fuji-Q Highland en 8,6 km van Kawaguchimeer, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. It was quite the trek to get to the property from Kyoto but it was definitely worth it. From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were treated very well by the exceptional staff. The property is beautiful and was the perfect one day getaway to relax after spending a week constantly walking around Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima. I will never forget the view of Mt. Fuji from our private onsen or the delicious 8-course kaiseki. Be sure to arrive by the 2:30PM check-in as there is so much to do on the property. From a taiko drum show to a tea lounge, there’s something for everybody. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends and can’t wait to visit again in the future.

Kaneyamaen ligt in Fujiyoshida, op 4,9 km van pretpark Fuji-Q Highland en 9,2 km van Kawaguchimeer, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. The staff was super friendly, helped us with our luggage to our room, showed us the way to the dining hall, and welcomed and served us so well during our stay. Our room was sooo amazing! We ordered the one with a private onsen, and we did not regret it! The view and the onsen were super worth it. You could see Mount Fuji straight from the sofa corner window, and I recommend waking up for sunrise to see the spectacular morning sun on the mountain! They have everything you need in the hotel, and the complementary drinks are so good too! Not like the usual. After dinner time there is a drum show from really muscular men, then a bingo show (with prizes), and after you could get to the lounge area and hear some live piano music. One of the lounge areas also provides free machine drinks, like beer! There is an open public bath downstairs (so big), massage (didn't try), and kimono rentals. At the rooftop, there is another public bath, but it may vary when and which gender it is available for. But it's REALLY recommended to try/see this, so special front view of the mountain. The garden outside is nice too, you could try the footbath area if you want. Breakfast was great, with many dishes to choose from and super service. The staff are so cute and friendly. One of them started a conversation and even gave us some recommendations, we appreciate that! Not the best with English but we all try to understand each other. They provided free bus rides to the nearest train station and other places for their customers on their way home.

Kyukamura Fuji is gelegen in Fujinomiya, op 34 km van Kawaguchimeer, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een restaurant. Het hotel op zich is wat ouder, wel netjes. Onze badkamer rook een beetje gek. De kamer is ruim, fijne bedden. Helaas voor ons geen uitzicht, want het weer was omgeslagen. Diner was top! Ontbijt was meer op de locale bevolking gericht, amper westers ontbijt. Ik vind het bedrag tov het hotel, het niet waard.

Honestly its hand on heart one of the best experiences of my life, mount fuji was clear and it was amazing, we opted for the waygu option and the portions were amazing and the private consensus was perfect
