The property has a year-round outdoor pool, fitness centre, sauna and shared lounge. Excellent facilities and service at a great location. The Sheraton at Colombo made for an amazing stay based on its central location and excellent service. We were given an upgraded room based on my Marriott status and had access to the lounge which made for a relaxing area for a bite or a beverage. Rooms were spacious and had an excellent view of the ocean, which made for a serene experience when one woke up and during the day. What topped it all off was the excellent service and the help offered, be it for a list item on our flight in, or other hotel amenities. The breakfast spread was top notch with tons of varieties and customizations! Recommend it highly if you’re planning on a visit to Colombo!

They made our trip incredibly comfortable and memorable. We stayed at a 2 bedroom apartments which was spacious and clean. You will find many restaurants nearby, including a pharmacy. They have provided us with a list of recommended restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as possible supermarkets in the neighborhood. A manual with all the necessary details on how to use the amenities and appliances in the apartment is also available. The interior design is contemporary, chic, and clean. We will definitely book this apartment again for our next trip.

The property is located 7 km from R Premadasa Stadium, 7 km from U.S. Embassy and 8 km from Khan Clock Tower. Arcade Independence Square is 4 km away and Sinhalese Sports Club is 4.1 km from the guest house. This was the first stop in our Sri Lankan trip and We weren’t quite ready to brave the hustle bustle of Colombo, Athma house was perfect for that. A small escape where you could admire the city lights over the lake while nestled behind a jungle shield. However central enough for you get out there if you want to. The owner of the property was our highlight. A fabulous well traveled woman with a warm welcoming energy. Her mission to make us feel at home. The interior was a feast for the eyes. Authentic and eccentric. The property was originally built as her home and it still feels that way, lived in and full of soul. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We stayed for one night and would recommend a minimum of two nights.
