Piece Lio from Japan Managed by H Hospitality Group in El Nido features 5-star accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. There is free private parking and the property provides free airport shuttle service. Squeaky clean, within a tropical rainforest (we booked a room with garden view and it was beautiful), interior was very minimal (Japanese), bathroom was new, super clean, equipped with a Dyson blowdryer, even the toilet is luxurious (Jomoo). Even the path to the hotel is amazing (wooden trail). There is a shuttle that can drop you/take you to town which is super convenient if you need it.

One evening, facing a taxi fare with no change, Livia generously paid it herself, a gesture that profoundly impressed me. The hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. While the restaurant's gluten-free offerings could be more extensive to accommodate international dietary needs, the available menu provides ample choices for a brief stay. The Funny Lion continues to exceed expectations, and I'm consistently impressed by the warmth and authenticity of its staff.
