Check in was easy. Room was clean and well laid out Shower was nice and spacious, water had a reasonable pressure and hot water readily available. Good strong aircon. fancy in room fan. Induction stove was a novelty. Bed was comfortable.

A 4,3 km da Pretoria Country Club e 4,4 km da University of Pretoria a Pretoria, Spacube Luxury Suites and Spa propone alloggi dotati di area salotto. Rene and her team were lovely and very accommodating even of an unusual request. Rooms were comfy and luxurious and stocked with all necessities, and breakfast was tasty and fresh each morning. Spa service was also very nice, my daughter was treated like a princess. Location is about 26min from the Mall of Africa and we found plenty to do within a 30-50m drive. Parking is also secure and self accessible.

From the start this was a great choice. Paul, one of the owners, was quick to respond to my questions and very pleasant. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Irma, the other owner, and Paul’s wife and Paul. Our rooms were down a flight of stairs but Paul was quick to make sure our bags were taken to our rooms. On our way down we got our first glimpse of the beautiful and impeccably manicured French style garden and pool ! Outside of each room were a table and chairs for a pleasant place to have morning coffee or just sit and enjoy the garden. Our rooms were tastefully appointed with great extras like a coffee maker, biscotti, and some toiletries. The beds were very comfortable. We were greeted by the house mascots, two adorable and sweet cocker spaniels ! The third member of the family (a senior dachshund) we got to meet later (I have a soft spot for him as I am a dachshund owner). Breakfast is available on request for an additional fee (it was well worth it). Now a word about the hosts…they know how to greet and treat people ! I cannot ever remember having hosts that were so accommodating, pleasant, easy going and charming ! I felt as though I was leaving old friends when I departed after only two nights. I would highly recommend La Vida Luka to anyone traveling to Pretoria ! You won’t be disappointed. Please note: credit cards are not accepted !

They made so much effort with setting up an additional family bed for us in the spacious room, it was very comfortable. There is a big garden for the kids to play in, and the food at the restaurant was really good.

Came to near this location for 1 week on business and stumbled across this hotel by chance. From the moment I arrived i was met with the most friendly team of owners and staff who couldn't do enough for me. From a lift to and from my work each day, to arranging and taking me on a safari trip, to making me a local dish I'd mentioned I liked, to inviting me to have drinks by the fire with them each evening. One night I wished to watch the football so I would have missed dinner so these guys without me even asking saved and wrapped me up the most amazing braii dinner that i devoured later. I've stayed in some amazing hotels all over the world, but the inclusive welcome I received here was by a mile the best. Jeanne, Willem, Roneldi, Victoria and Francois - thank you so much for everything. I will be back :)
