Set in Khao Lak, 25 km from Tsunami Memorial - Rue Tor 813, Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Among the various facilities are a terrace, a bar, as well as water sports facilities. The accommodation features a kids' club, room service and currency exchange for guests. In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a kids' club and free WiFi. Everything was fantastic! Staff, breakfast, hotel design, proximity to beach, pools. It’s amazing for kids, but there are also lots of adult-only areas. The resort’s size and layout makes it feel like there aren’t so many people around, although of course that wasn’t the case.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a refreshing drink and warm smiles. The resort had lots of different restaurants and something for everyone. The rooms were very spacious and decorated beautifully in the traditional Thai style. The pool was a lot of fun for our kids. My 4 and 2 year old loved going down the water slide and my baby also enjoyed the very shallow pool. The resort is a family vacation heaven where there are activities for kids at every corner such as paper crafts and twist balloons. There are also cool shows such as sunset ceremony and fire dancing on certain nights. The most outstanding part of the resort is the exceptional service. I was touched by how attentive and thoughtful the staff were. Servers were always smiling at our young kids, offering to feed my baby food so I could enjoy my meal, and moving the poolside umbrella so my baby wasn’t in the sun. Their warmth and genuine love for children made our trip truly unforgettable. We cannot wait to come back!
