I loved this motel. It was so quaint and well looked after. Our room was spotlessly clean. The lady at reception (sorry I've forgotten your name!)was really friendly, welcoming and answered all our questions about the area. Great location away from the busier parts of the Great Smokys. Only a short drive from the spectacular Waterrock knob trail and overlook. Beautiful sunsets. Also near the spectacular Soco Falls. There was a really lovely creek at the back of the motel with somewhere to sit and relax. We also met the dogs!

I instantly felt calm as I walked in the lobby to check in. After a nightmare VRBO rental left us nowhere to go I scrambled to find reasonable accommodations for my family during the bike rally we were attending. This was the first, affordable lodging we found and I was so grateful. I don't remember the name of the very polite young man who checked us in but he made a world of difference in our Maggie Valley stay. He's very knowledgeable and extremely compassionate as I was still upset from the earlier part of my day. I would 10/10 stay here again. We got to our room and it was beyond everything that we expected. It was very clean comfortable and spacious. We couldn't believe we had such a nice room and it was so quiet. The lake is so beautiful here as well, it is definitely a peaceful stroll to see God's work. You'll make a great choice to stay here.
